History

V.M. “Tom” Hellekson founded Vital in 1976. Vital has always been known for the highest standards of the word "SERVICE"!  This one concept alone has kept us growing, and is always our highest concern.    Perfection may not be achievable, but it is certainly our constant goal.  Today Vital serves over 300 municipalities, and 19 County governments in the State of New Jersey alone

• First creator of the MOD4 computerized property tax programs.
